cool. no better way to learn about your bike.

you want to grease just about everything - all threaded bolts and
anywhere metal contacts metal.  some subscribe to different schools of
thought regarding things like greasing bb spindles, but when in doubt
(and when common sense tells you otherwise - e.g. don't grease your
stem clamp and handlebars), grease it and don't be shy about it.

beeswax is optional, but may be used anywhere that you might want a
little extra stick-um on bolts/parts that are prone to loosening-up/
backing-out a bit over time.  personally, i've never used it, but i've
never had anything so incorrigible that it needed to be tamed by
beeswax. it's a nice, natural alternative to loc-tite and more
aggressive thread lockers.
