That's what I would worry with in re-raking the stock fork.  I love
how my QB handles as is.  As my daily commuter, my typical load goes
in the large rear saddlesack, but several days a week something finds
it's way onto the front rack (Platrack/Nitto Mini combo).  The 5
points of attachment make for an uber solid and secure front rack
system.    Unloaded, all that front rack-age is unnoticeable while
riding.  Non-ridiculous loads are no problem either.  Only when
carrying big bulky boxes or a really heavy load (stack of library
books)  do I notice handling differences.  Anyway, that's my
experience.  Let us know what you end up doing.  Glad you're okay and
you're getting the QB back on the road soon.
