No computer here. I live on an island I've got a limited selection of routes
and I know the distances for most of those. I actually do track my time on a
bike as it's part of some health goals we have where I work, but time is
easy. And as most of my miles are commuting in town I'm mostly stop and go
(and then sprint) anyway. I suppose if I rode a bike with derailleurs it
might be fun to have one for measuring cadence but as I'm on a Quickbeam my
cadence is what it is. I try to keep it reasonable, but riding in traffic
often means I'm changing from crawling to sprinting to stopping and back
again a lot. And when I get to do longer rides (trying for once or twice a
week) hills are hills and with no easy gear changes often it just means
jamming away and on the way down pedaling often doesn't do a thing.

Back in the 80's when I rode a bike that was way too small and wore clothes
that were way too tight I had one but all it ever told me was that I was
slower than everyone else around me. I still am, but I'm doing it in
comfort. :-)

Aloha
