I have a bike with a Scmidt Dyno, one with a Maxicar front hub, and another with Campy Record. When the lights are off, there is no noticeable drag. Sure it may be cheaper then a Schmidt. But then as anyone who buys a Rivendell ought to know, sometimes paying a little more means getting a whole lot more.
