Along with a nice set of lights/reflectors/bright clothing etc...the 'ol Back-Off-Triangle provides a little added peace of mind for me. I'm able to get out of work just in time to avoid dark, dark conditions but lights are a must have.
On a positive note, the shortest day of the year is coming up soon... and then they start getting longer minute by minute. But then, I'm way down here in the South where we get a little extra light and a lot more heat (no snow). Don't know how you guys do it in the dark/cold for months at a time. Be safe out there!!
