I picked up a used nice green Rambouillet a couple of months ago. When
I got it I put on some fairly new Jack Browns. I've been riding for a
few months and have been very happy with it overall although the
wheels that came with it were past their prime. I had a nice set of
wheels with Suntour XC Pro hubs so they went on and I rode it some
more. My only complaint was that the Shimano calipers that came on it
wouldn't open wide enough to get the JB's in w/out deflating. I picked
up some Tektro R538's and then Friday swapped out brakes, new Tektro
levers ( those shimaNo's are too small for my hands) and some nice
Suntour dérailleurs and bar end shifters. Everything worked perfect.

This evening I went to put on some 35mm Paselas for some mixed terrain
rides and they won't fit height wise in the front because of the brake
calipers. Everything I've read says the Ram can fit 37mm tire. Has
anyone been able to fit a 35mm or even 37mm tire on their
Rambouillet? Is there to shift the brake caliper higher?
