Ken -- I can't speak to the cost difference . . . maybe the labor? Quality of materials? Currency exchange rates? I also couldn't say that the Sackville is "so much better" than the Zimbale and Carradice, but it is darned good. I don't think I've ever seen a sturdier, better- loooking, or better-built bag than the Sackville. -- Forrest
