Your miles may vary, but when I received 2 separate orders from a different
UK vendor Ratio Technology for their very fine derailleur and shifter kits
to expand the cassette reach on my one-by mountain bike, I got the package
and THEN Fedex kept sending me bills for the tariffs. I refused to pay, in
that I thought the tariffs were illegal, and the Supreme Court agreed. I
have since stopped getting the bills and nothing has changed insofar as my
credit rating. I suspect that FedEx is not line up with the special tariff
court to get their refunds. And all was well.

Ask your vendor if their experience was having to pay to get the item or if
their customers later got a bill.
