There is a LightSkin version of the BAs that shaves 200g off each tire, due to folding bead and lighter sidewall, and thus they should be even cushier in addition to being lighter. I have been wanting to try them on my Fisher Sphinx monster cross.
Ideally you would try out a Hetre-equipped 650B, and a BA equipped 700C bike and see how they feel. Where do you live? Maybe some friendly locals will let you test-ride their bikes?
