The 185 is a classic bend, but shallow and short compared to the 175 or the Noodle. It has much less of a ramp than a Noodle, which I actually find comfortable when your bars are lower than the saddle. Saddles are wholly personal, of course. I can't make Brookses comfortable while Flites and Turbos are, for me. Pedals: I actually have recently switched back from clips and straps to Looks and SPDs. I've tried all sorts of spd clones, but the Shimanos are IME simply more secure, more consistent in click in and click out, and more durable. (I've tried Frogs and prefer Shimanos to those, too.) Please show photos as and when complete.
