Hi All- My first post here. I just purchased one of the last Taiwan Sam frames to build up. It's a 60cm set up for sidepull brakes. Yes, I know, cantis are better in every possible way, but I actually like the classic look of sidepulls. I'm planning on Tektro 556 brakes, so hopefully I won't give up too much in clearances! It will be a more of a "Sunday ride' bike for the time being, but I like that fact that a Sam can become anything I want down the road. I'm keeping it pretty classic and simple - Noodles, Brooks saddle, skinny 32mm Paselas (that will no doubt look lost in those brakes!) Seems like a fun group here. Looking forward to learning a lot.
