Doug, I was actually interested in the comparison of a 60 Bombadil with a 61 Atlantis. I know how stout the Bombadil is, I own a 60. However, I'm getting more and more concerned with the standover height, which is very "there" for me as well as the fact that I'm unable to bring the Noodle bars any closer due to the top tube length. My 61 AHH fits perfectly and the 61 Atlantis is pretty much identical with even slightly more standover clearance. That's why I started considering the 61 Atlantis.
At this time, I don't want to go to a 56 Bombadil because it would require getting the 650B wheelset (I have 2 36 spoked 700c Rich built wheelsets and 2 32 spoked lighter wheelsets that I use on the AHH). I also don't really like the way the Hunqa is going, with its diagonal second tube and its grey paint. I could change my mind as I explore these options, but for now, I'm just interested in what switching to the 61 Atlantis would mean. Not even sure I'm going to do it... just reassessing my options.
