I tried the Grip Kings and, to my dismay, the proportions and axle
location didn't work for me. I have a short wide foot, women's size
6, and wear very soft shoes when I ride (chuck taylors, soft-soled
moccasins). The GP's were long for my foot but I think I could've
gotten over that; it was more that the axle doesn't extend to the cage
(port/starboard, not bow/stern so to speak) and created a lump toward
the center of the pedal right under the ball of my foot. (This also
happens with the new EZ quick-release MKS pedals.) I've wound up
staying with the MKS touring pedals and found a home for the GK's.
I'd recommend seeing if you can borrow a pair and try 'em out wearing
your softest regular riding shoe before you make the purchase.

Has anyone tried the VO City or Touring pedals?
