Evan, I did a couple decades of gooped chains. Maybe not Phil Oil gooped, but when a person becomes A Serious Cyclist the first two things they learn are their saddle is too low and their chain is squeaky. What's next? Saddle goes way up there to where they're wobbling to reach the pedals, and the chain gets a couple gallons of the finest wet lube money can buy. Congratulations, you're A Serious Cyclist now! 👏👏👏
