I don't remember who posted the link to the new PDW Beast fenders, but I'd been contemplating fenders for my Clementine and as soon as I saw them I knew they were the hot ticket for me. Ordered them & they came a few days ago. Tried to mount them up on Sunday, but I was promptly aware that my brake situation (low profile XTR cantilevers) wasn't going to work! :-(
What to do!? I briefly considered V brakes, but that would involve switching levers as well and I dig my levers so that left me with a dilemma. I got some Paul MiniMotos a while back in a trade, they won't really work on the Clementine either, but as chance would have it I am on the verge of a major refresh of my Atlantis; it currently has Paul touring Canti's on it and I believe those will be fine on the Clementine. So I will rotate those on the Clementine & put the MiniMoto's on the Atlantis.
