Haha, Joe. An intervention...it’s come to this! I’m gonna take the Clem to get the super-sonic-wooper-dooper cleaning job REI offers, so not a total loss. The Clem’s rightful owner didn’t put many miles on it, but it’s from 2015 or 2016, so probably time to get it cleaned and frame-savered and tuned up. Especially because it’s mine now. I rightfully stole it, so it’s rightfully mine and I have standards.
I’ve done a lot of mental gymnastics to find this “bright side” - and if something breaks on the Betz tomorrow and I’m bikeless again I will be beyond consolation.
