The one bit on my Ram I've reshuffled the most is the saddlebag. I told myself I didn't mind the bag hitting my legs, until I couldn't tell myself I didn't mind it anymore. I tried the Super C wedge years ago, then I went back to transverse, can't remember why. I even had a silver hupe for a minute. Most recently I gave the Bagman a try but with a Brooks saddle, you have to set it all the way back for the Bagman to attach and on long rides that position wasn't tenable. Somehow during all that time, I missed the Nitto R-10. Looks like it could be the final solve. The supports are supposed to attach mid stay but the Ram only has high ones for a traditional big rack. If I can avoid the look of p-clamps, I'll do it, so yesterday's project was cutting and bending them to fit:

I could spend time getting the curves more symmetrical and the ends straighter on but it fits and it's not a ton of tension and I like the look. True test is next weekend in the mountains. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
