Most of my riding has been been with steel bars, and never heard/known
of a problem with corrosion on them.   Although aluminum bars
certainly appear to be a more-than-proven alternative, steel bars seem
natural to me nonetheless, so i'd probably buy some, probably for drop-
bar mountain-bike stuff and what not.
