True, but tires and wheel size/makes made no diff, in my experience between the
bike models.
(GB30,42/Compass28,32, 38, 42/Pasela/Swifty/Rumpkin/Marathons). Whole spectrum
tried. Alleged fastest and alleged slowest tires made. 650b/700c. Twin
Holla’/GB/Pacenti/Synergy/A23/CR18/, LX/VO,Velocity/105, Sapim/DTSwiss/Wheelman
wheelsets.

Each bike model retained its innate ride characteristics no matter what I used,
though suppler tires helped them each along individually. All my Rivs had
Rivish Nitto/Sugino builds, except my 55 Bleriot was Ultegra’d out. Still rode
like my heavier 53 Nitto/Sugino Bleriot. Sam rides like Bleriot. Ram a step
above. Roadeo a leap above them all.

Roadeo in a different efficiency/speed class than my other 4 rivs.

Regardless of tire model, I found that a Bleriot still rides like a Bleriot;
Sam like a Sam; a Ram like a Ram, etc. Roadeo a step above in ease of movin on
down the road.
