Based on the feedback I got here and from Vince and from carefully considering what I really want, I've opted to just wait until the in-spec frames are delivered in November or December. I'm lucky to have a Clem and a Homer to ride in the mean time so I'll wait for the road bike that I really want rather than settle for something just because I can get it now.
