Do they really not flex as well, despite the offset at the crown and if they are properly tapered? I haven't noticed any difference in the two straight bladed forks I've used, tires being similar to those ridden on curved-leg forks.
IOW: is it universally true that a well designed straight blade fork will eo ipso transfer bumps more directly than a well designed curved blade fork? I'm asking, not denying. Patrick Moore, who wouldn't want a straight fork with Rivendell crown, but who rather likes the look of straight blades with spare, James-type lugs on a stripped down gofast bike.
