I am a 7 3/4 melon head. I have used Bell helmets for several years, the latest a Bell Sequence for about 5 years. They are affordable (got mine on sale for about $25 or so), not too Star Wars, and Bell has great customer service (ex: my pads worn out on my old one and Bell sent me replacements for free). I even use a cap underneath mine and I still have plenty of room, allowing for my head to continuously grow :)
