Never mind lifting the front wheel over a curb, how about standing over the frame both feet on the ground while you remove a jacket or switch from your heavy gloves to your lighter ones? There are those who will say you never ever have to stand over a frame with both feet on the ground; I think that's bogus. I shed a layer on almost every cold weather ride, usually between the 5th and 10th mile. One reason I love handlebar bags so much is that I can remove that layer and put it in the bag without having to dismount and lay the bike on the ground to do so. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
