I just realized you said February -- your loop route on 243 could include temperatures in the 20's, and if the wet weather keeps up, you could also get snow. You may want to plan on sticking to desert rides. Though with this wet winter, you could also get snow in Joshua Tree, which is high desert. Don't believe me?
