Yeah, that is one seriously long head tube. The fork I have will not work. Not even close. There is also Chauncey Matthews (Matthew Chauncey?) not sure if he is near you. And Garth mentioned Franklin in Ill. they build, repair, etc. Or...buy a smaller one and have a builder swap the steerer--probably still a lot cheaper than full custom. I would think Franklin would do something like that.
