The LBS disassenmbled the left bar end and said it was all there. I'll remember to check the orientation of the tab. I left others do the work. I remember the tab when I initially installed the bar ends The MT-60 FD is less than 2 mm from the top of the big ring with chain on the middle. Any closer would invite rubbing. Before the XD2 I had Biopace with a 50T and swapped to 48T without adjusting the MT60 height. No problems I'll have to check the amount of cable tension in the lowest gear.
