The question proposed in the subject matter is very interesting. "Will riding a Rivendell make me self-conscious or overly worrisome?" Like most answers in life, Only if you allow yourself the pleasure of being self-consicious or over worrisome. I'm a fairly new Rivendell owner myself, I've had my Bleriot for a couple of months now. At first I was very worrisome about riding it around but when I realized that my bike has no soul. I started to loosen up a bit. You could ride a tricycle and NOT feel self- conscious because your the best tricycle rider in town. Or if Rivendell brought back moon shoes (something I wish they did) and everyone developed a cult following of moon shoes why feel worrisome if your doing something that you enjoy?Remember it's the experiences that you put on the bike that more important than the bike itself.
