FYI, I used a Rambouillet for my first brevet series in 2008 and ran
32mm Paselas with SKS P45 fenders no problem. I think with the Tektro
"Bigmout" brakes you could even squeeze in a 33. I used my Hilsen this
past year for brevets and briefly considered using my Rambouillet but
now I know I"ll ride my Hilsen. There's just something different about
it that makes me happy. Feel free to add a Hilsen to your quiver,
seems like any Rivendell you own you'll put to good use.

I gotta say, your post really made me reflect on how hard and scary
this must be for Grant. On the one hand he's doing something he enjoys
and believes in but it's gotta be scary as he has a family to support
and a retirement to look forward to, all of which hinge on the
viability of RBW.

Thanks again for your thoughtful post,
mike
