David-

I've been using the 45Nrth Dillinger 5 studded tires on my fat bike for 3
winters. They're not the Nicotines, but they speak for the quality of
45Nrth tires.

The Dillinger 5 tires are amazing; they conquer all terrain. They roll
surprisingly easily; they don't seem to have much more rolling resistance
on pavement than my summer fat tires (Specialized Ground Control 4.6).
45Nrth uses concave-tipped carbide studs are the best in the industry, and
high-quality carcass and compounds that roll really well.
So, it follows that they're very (very) expensive.

In contrast, I have previously used Nokian Suomi W160 Mount & Ground tires
on my 26" MTB. They seemed insanely slow-rolling compared to decent tires
like Big Apples.

But, they are not the premium Suomi tires; those would be the Nokian Hakka
WXC 300.

I bet the Ice Spiker Pros are also excellent tires, especially if you get
the folding/liteskin version. I've been impressed with the high-end
Schwalbe tires I've tried.

Can the Clem clear a 700 x 2.35" tire?
