The old Stronglight headset and Simplex seatpost on my Motobecane, and the Cyclotourist and Stronglight cranks variously distributed among my bikes, are all wonderful parts.
I put thousands of miles on plastic Simplex derailleurs almost 40 years ago and, no problems.
