I started at about 7:10. Rain started for me on the full metric route just as I was stopping at the last rest stop at noon; rained for maybe 4 miles and then stopped; started again about 2 miles from the end, stopped as I arrived at the finish at around 1 pm; started again in earnest as I was changing clothes in the portolet next to my car and continued in full force for about 15 minutes of driving heading west on US 30.

I saw no Rivendells or, as far as I know, members of the RBW group.

I thought it was a great ride. Two thumbs up for the route improvements. And I do feel sorry for all those who bailed because of the adverse forecast. For the first 50 miles, the weather was just beautiful. And even the rain in the last 10 miles was fun. Of course, I did miss the really heavy rain, so that kind of colors my view of it. And full metal fenders do work wonders at stopping rooster tails, making rain much more enjoyable.

Don't know if it was me or not. Sounds like you started earlier, so probably
not. I think I finished around 1:45-2?
I was on my blue Bleriot.
I saw a guy with a blue custom, too. Maybe him?
I did'nt see any other Rivendells.
It rained the last ~15 miles for me. Last 5 was heavy rain. It was fun, though.
But drenching. It was fun seeing all the Amish carriages and bridges.
