There are several journals  describing doing that ride (not my cup of  
tea).  The first CGOAB journal of riding the Dempster Highway was  
written by Pat Rodden.  It is well-written and the photos are  
astonishing.  IN awful news, though, Pat subsequently suffered  
terrible brain injuries in a fall from a ladder at home:

Tim (working on being snowbound in Minnesota like a bunch of other  
RBW members.  Bikes, skis and showshoes may be the only way to get  
around by Saturday.  6" so far and 15" more expected).
