Erl, I like the bar-tape idea. I always keep a black cloth roll around for projects, so I'll slap some on the rack. I already have the straps zip-tied down in the hopes of stabilizing them a bit..maybe the tape will help. I hope so 'cause I don't know how to do the other ideas.
