I called the Buckleguy and sent them pictures of my TrunkSack. Here's what I learned:
This: http://www.buckleguy.com/3016-antique-brass-turn-lock-solid-brass-four-piece-set/ -- is as wide as the leather strap (3/4"), so the width pierce bits will mount to to the outside of the strap while the length ones will get holepunches for the leather and be the main structural part. -- mount without any tools other than a hole punch or way to controllably cut the leather and pliers, unless you can do that sort of thing with your hands or for manly men you teeth! Grin. Anyone know of a source for narrower turn or buckle locks?
