I've been pleasantly surprised with its liveliness. I expected it to ride like a tank but when I climb out of the saddle I don't feel like I'm losing momentum, slowing down or fighting with the bike. I think it would benefit from nicer tires, I'm running the stock kendas. It's not the quickest accelerator from a dead stop but if you are already trucking along and need to accelerate, to beat a traffic light for example, it gets up and goes.
My points of reference are carbon and steel road bikes and also a surly LHT. Compared to the surly I enjoy the Clem's ride a lot more. I think the surly was a little quicker To get up to speed but I always found that when climbing out of the saddle on the surly it fell stiff and the opposite of lively. I don't get that on the Clem. Not sure if it's tubing related or geometry? Tim Vancouver, BC -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
