Another high class problem. Bike lust alert!

I was at my LBS today getting some small parts, and what did I see but
a new green Sam Hillborne in my size. I happily accepted an
invitation to take it for a ride; it was great. Great in the way that
it's bugging me a bit still.

Here's the issue, I already have an A Homer Hilsen that I enjoy and
that serves me very well. But...I could just transfer the AHH parts
to the SamH, with the exception of the brakes... and the wheels. The
700c AHH wheels are not compatible with the 650b Sam Hillborne, do I
really want to get into a new wheelset? This is getting away from a
simple frame switch quickly.
....But I do like the idea of a bike with cantilever brakes.

And add to this, that my single speed commuter frame is in tough shape
and in need of a replacement (with another single speed). It's a
higher priority than other impulse bike purchases.

Am I out of my tree? Discuss.
