Tough to say if it was gender-bias, or just retail sales lameness. I'm
guessing a bit of both from an uneducated salesperson. Like most aspects of
our society, salespeople are looking for short-term gain over long-term
relationships. Blame the management as much as the salesperson for that.

+1 on the Straggler, looks like a great bike.

Female friend of mine locally just bought a Kona Rove. Beautiful bike, and
except for TCO in the smaller sizes, quite versatile. She's coming over
some time to check out 650B conversion options on it.
