You guess correctly (sorry Surf, didn't see your question until now!) Rivendell started with an advantage since they just had to grab a bare frame off the rack and send it to be painted. That frame is now back from the painter and queued up to be built. A color has been selected and parts have been ordered for the ANT... but it's still in individual steel tube bits as far as I know.
