Steve,everything in the drivetrain is (was before three brevets) brand new. Cables, housing, cassette, chain, chain rings. Only the derailer and shifters were not new. The problem still persisted. I took it to a good LBS for a tune up and had them check for a bent hanger. Adjusting the cable tension with the barrel adjuster only moves the problem from the three lowest gears to the middle gears. Lungimsam, the D rings on the Silvers are tight and I used beeswax.
