Hah! There was a time when the ability to charge my tricorder (for me, an iPhone) or its yet-to-be-produced-analog (precision USB-powered coffee grinder? piezo-electric iced coffee cooler? mobile Bitcoin mine?) would definitely have been a plus. But I have after much time and mileage come to "appreciate the simpler things" (which actually means I'm too old, tired, and lazy to embrace such complexities). Also, battery life on the iPhone has improved! :)
At any rate, it seems my low speed per se probably isn't reason to eschew the lower-drag dynamos. Oh well.
