I've had a shutter precision SD-8 for over a year and a half, and so far it's great. I never noticed the drag, have only noticed vibration once or twice on long downhills with the light on. It's the only dynohub I've owned but I've worked on bikes with all types. In hand, the rotation seems somewhat smoother than Shimano but not as buttery smooth as the SON hubs. I think the rolling tests substantiate this.
