A few years ago, I arrive before opening time, see folks beginning to arrive and open doors. It was clear there were plenty of things to do, setup, and organize before they would be in a position to deal with customers. Besides it wasn't time to open yet. I was plenty patient waiting for them to get ready, but a little embarrassed standing around, maybe appearing as if in a hurry. Jay walks up, introduces himself, pulls me inside, and asks if I'd like a coffee.
