Indeed.. SO many new offerings out there (it's tempting)... The Rivendell influence seems apparent in these designs. I have a Handsome XOXO frameset still-in-the-box holding out in my attic *(waiting to catch me in a moment of weakness... I feel I may succumb soon...).*
And let's not forget there are lots of great under-utilized 'budget' steel MTBs from the 80s/90s out there hoping for a second life... Like my (eBay-acquired) 83 Bianchi Grizzly. This bike sat for 30 years (like so many other 'original' MTB designs that quickly became obsoleted by newer, lighter designs). But this bike (as an all-rounder) rides like a dream!!! And LOOK at it... It's a beauty... I only added new rubber and a saddle. The rest is original. <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_K88X67xJjs/VU4hzY7CTmI/AAAAAAAAE_I/x2UQMcP1RdM/s1600/FullSizeRender.jpg> Peace, BB On Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 6:50:38 AM UTC-4, Ron Mc wrote: > > New Albion Homebrew - $950 ready to go > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
