When I was looking for a custom, I talked to 3 builders all were OK with leaving the d/t and seat tube markings off the bikes.
I did decide to have the markings put on, the design of the bike just looked better with them. There was an interesting article in the NYT recently about how brands were important to the owner but of little to no interest to people around them. Which tracks with my experience with bikes, almost no ever asks a question about the bike brand, some times people figure the name on the d/t is mine. Scott, who's last name isn't Kvale. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
