The 127mm is only needed for the Sugino AT as a triple, not as a compact double.

But yes, the Shimano UN72 was one of the nicer resonably priced BB's ever sold.

That would be a no-go if it were my bike . With a Sugino AT , when my original BB needed replaced the closest one I could find was a 127mm Shimano UN72 . I believe Sheldon Brown listed it as the best replacement. It turns out despite the slightly longer spindle it turned out perfect on my '83 Stumpjumper without any spacers at all . I only rode it a few hundred miles though before I finally ended up selling the frame though . So if you opt for another BB I'd gladly sell you my not used-too-much UN-72 which I've had just sitting around with no use for , lol. These are nice cartridges with aluminum cups and they are adjustable if you need it , unlike the newer UN54/55's which have a lip on the non DS .
