Not applicable to the Rivendell parts world, but I'm running 60mm Super Motos
on a WTB Scraper (29+) rim with 45mm internal width. The tire mounts
beautifully on this ultra-wide rim, so don't be shy about getting a rim with
≈35mm width. My tires measured at 63mm with calipers, and the wider rim/greater
volume allows you to safely run the tire at lower pressure. Not sure if there
are tubeless-ready or tubeless-doable options for rim brake rims, but a Super
Moto run tubeless seems like it will be the bee's knees to me, though I haven't
tried that setup on my TLR rims yet. I run my Motos at about 17-19 PSI, and the
ride is so plush.
