I think you are much more likely to snap the mounting bolt or the saddle
rails than you would be to break a seatpost.  Both of those situations can
be pretty awkward, depending upon the rider's attention and reactions.

And, I've definitely seen Ti break (bb spindles, saddle rails, bolts).
That's not an unheard of occurence.

If you are concerned about your seatpost, the two bolt Nitto post would be
my choice. Two bolts = half the stress on either.
