Yes. I am an open source software developer. I herd cats all the time.
I work on multiple projects where I don't even have  financial
leverage over the people who work "for me" so I very much understand
the complexities of getting people to do stuff they may not want to do
without a lot of leverage.

It's not impossible, it's just tricky. My question about it for frame
building has been - "is the margin there?"

I guess there is only one way to find out, though
