Last year in Europe one of our tour members had to leave unexpectedly and the rest of us to figure out how to dis-assemble and pack his S&S coupled Ti racing bike. Fortunately he had photos in the case showing where everything went and a written procedure. The process was straightforward but would not have been so without the info. Even at that, we had to deflate the last tire in and placing the 3 spacers is a bit tricky. Two of us took a couple of hours but we did not attempt to hurry. This was a 54 or 56 cm frame, no racks, 23 mm tires. Total packed weight was around 46-48 lbs, just nder the 50 lb limit for standard luggage. This guy travels quite a bit with this set-up and speaks highly of it.
