"Hot, flat and windy"?

Hmmmm ... Not really. Sure, it's hot in the summer, and the first 25 miles or 
so are mostly flat, but after that the course is very lumpy, with a number of 
minor and major climbs. Here's the route in GPS, which estimates about 6,700
